About

Each checklist asks a few questions first, then builds a PDF from the answers. There is no account, no email address, and nothing to sign up for. Intervals, inspection points and line items follow manufacturer guidance and standard practice, with the sources listed on each page, and the date the figures were last checked appears under the generator.

The site is a static site built with Astro. Every page is pre-rendered HTML; each generator is a small isolated component that only loads when you open its page, and the PDF library only loads when you click Download. Nothing you type is sent anywhere — the list is assembled and the PDF is written in your browser. The checklists are organisational tools, not legal or professional documents.

The printables cover maintenance, cleaning, moving, buying, renting, renovating and records. The site footer includes links to About, Contact, Privacy and Terms. There is no contact form because a form would mean collecting and storing your details and this site does not do that. You can reach The Printable Home at hello@theprintablehome.com.

    The Printable Home offers a Home Maintenance Checklist, a Home Maintenance Log, a Fall Home Maintenance Checklist, a Spring Home Maintenance Checklist, an HVAC Maintenance Schedule, a New Homeowner Checklist and a filter change schedule. The Home Maintenance Checklist can be downloaded as a PDF and includes monthly, September, October, November, December and January sections. The Home Maintenance Log can be downloaded as a PDF and includes sections for Heating & cooling, Plumbing & water heater, Electrical, Roof, gutters & exterior, Foundation, windows & doors, Appliance repairs, Yard, trees & drainage, Pest control, Septic & well, and Everything else, plus an Equipment register, a Who-to-call list and a Year totals table.

  2. Cleaning schedules and checklists

    The Printable Home offers a Cleaning Schedule for ADHD, a Cleaning Schedule Maker, a Deep Cleaning Checklist, a Family Chore Chart, a House Cleaning Checklist by Room and a Move-Out Cleaning Checklist. The Cleaning Schedule for ADHD can be downloaded as a PDF and lets you select a block length of 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes. The Cleaning Schedule Maker allows users to download a PDF and lets users select rooms to clean, specify the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, account for cats or dogs and young children at home, choose between doing a bit each day or all in one day, and select minutes available per day. The Deep Cleaning Checklist can be downloaded as a PDF or printed and includes sections for the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living room, entry and hallway, and the whole house.

  3. Moving and address checklists

    The Printable Home offers a Change of Address Checklist, a First Apartment Checklist, Moving Box Labels, a Moving Checklist, an Out-of-State Moving Checklist and a Room-by-Room Packing List. The change of address checklist can be downloaded as a PDF, can be printed as a table with account numbers, includes a plain checklist option with explanations, and includes a table layout with an account-number column and a confirmed column. The Moving Box Labels sheet lets users select rooms, offers a Standard label size of 8 per page and a Large label size of 4 per page, produces 28 labels, and includes special labels OPEN FIRST, FRAGILE, DO NOT PACK, and LAST OUT. The Moving Checklist can be downloaded as a PDF.

  4. Buying, renting and inspection checklists

    The Printable Home offers a Closing Day Checklist, a Home Buying Checklist, a Home Inspection Checklist, a House Hunting Comparison Sheet, an Apartment Walkthrough Checklist, a Move-In / Move-Out Inspection Checklist and a Rental Property Inspection Checklist. The Closing Day Checklist allows users to download a PDF and lets users select whether they are buying or selling, whether they are paying with a mortgage or cash, and a U.S. state. It includes a field for the closing date, an option for a remote or mail-away closing, and sections for before closing day, a final walkthrough, what to bring on the day, at the table, straight after closing, and questions to ask and anything raised. The House Hunting Comparison Sheet allows setting up a comparison of homes, can be downloaded as a PDF, includes a page per home with what to check on site, and groups items by how expensive they are to change.

  5. Renovation and repair forms

    The Printable Home offers a Home Renovation Checklist, a Home Repair Estimate Template, a Kitchen Remodel Checklist and a Punch List Template. The home repair estimate template includes a quote comparison table for putting three bids side by side, a trade selection that includes General repair, Roofing, Painting, Landscaping / lawn, Plumbing, Electrical, Flooring, Concrete / masonry, and Handyman, a scope of work section with columns for Description, Qty, Materials, Labour, and Line total, a 'Not included in this price' block, and a note that it is a working form, not a contract drafted for your state. It states the estimate is valid for 30 days from the date above.

  6. Emergency and records checklists

    The Printable Home offers an Emergency Preparedness Checklist, a Home Inventory List for Insurance and an Important Documents Checklist. The emergency preparedness checklist can be downloaded as a PDF or printed and includes a section on water and food for 7 days for 2 people, a section on light, power and information, a section on first aid, hygiene and tools, a section for hazards you actually face, a go bag list, and a written plan section. It allows users to specify household composition including adults, children, and pets, select the number of days of supplies, and select specific hazards to include. The important documents checklist can be downloaded as a PDF.
